As the mountains are continuing to get fresh layers of snow, the White House's cabinet is turning over and the Denver weather continues to fluctuate between warm and sunny to snowy and cloudy, plenty of fresh stuff is happening at Modworks too these days.

 

Last week, the much-anticipated top floor expansion project was finally cleared for move-ins.  The space looks incredible.  Hon has delivered great updated furnishings, A&B Builders of Denver was great to work with and all the private offices are already under lease.  Now, as we look towards spring and summer, we can see a lot of exciting things on the horizon for coworking in Denver.

 

Entreprenuer magazine stated in their December 2016 issue that by this time next year, over 1 million individuals will be working out of a shared space.  It is, for the time being, still a niche office solution for the commercial real estate industry at large, but many within the Denver Co-working alliance expect that our share of the market will increase exponentially by 2020.  I believe that this is THE office solution for Millennials and will reach 50% of the market surprisingly soon.

 

In light of these expectations and more directly due to demand we’ve experienced, we are thrilled to have our new, top floor open.   Years ago, our host (the Petroleum Building) was Denver’s tallest building and much like today, oil and gas were big industries around here.  In fact, some of the big dogs in the game were living in penthouse suites on the top floor of our building. 

 

In some ways, it feels like we’ve returned to our roots as a successful, modern and energetic vibe is very palpable here.  Our clients have found growth and favor in their work here.  Want to check it out? Well, look no further than the next paragraph.
