Meet Sarah! Sarah has been a member at Modworks for two years now. She started with a dedicated desk, and as her company grew, she upgraded to a private office! Here’s a little more about Sarah and the company she works for, Packaging Compliance Labs.

1. What is the company you work for and what do they do?

I work for Packaging Compliance Labs out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.  At PCL we help medical and pharmaceutical companies get to market by aiding with packaging.  We have a team of medical specific packaging engineers that do anything from designing packaging to validating the equipment that makes it.  As a compliment, we also have a package testing lab that performs a range of tests that ensure a medical device package will keep the contents safe and sterile no matter what happens to it during transit from the producer to the hospital.  These tests help new devices get to market with FDA compliance. 

2. What is your role at the company and what do you do?

I am our Senior Director of Sales & Marketing.  My focus is growing our company from a revenue, team and brand recognition standpoint.  I oversea our marketing department and the strategies that we execute on a monthly basis, while also focusing on sales growth and building client relationships. 

3. What kind of membership do you have at Modworks? How did you decide on which membership to go with?

PCL started off with a dedicated desk a little over two years ago, as this was our first trial at remote work.  We found Modworks after looking at co-working facilities all over the city and we felt that Modworks fit us best from a location, price and work environment standpoint.  After a year at a dedicated desk, we have graduated to having a personal office to allow us to expand our team more.  We have been very happy with our selection of Modworks and look forward to continually growing here! 

4. What is your favorite thing about Modworks?

The people have been the absolute best at Modworks.  Emily, the Operations Manager, is such an excellent resource to have!  She is always around to help with anything you need and be a welcoming face for your company when clients come to the front desk.  Modworks also does a great job with hosting happy hours and fun events so you get to meet the other people in the office and create a community in remote work. 

5. What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

When I’m not working I love anything outdoors from skiing to fly fishing, hiking, horseback riding and spending time with my dog, Bruce.  If you’re lucky you’ll get to see him begging for snuggles and rubs at the office!
